See the Caledonian MacBrayne website for ferry timetables, bookings and prices or telephone: +[44] (0)8705 650 000.

There are three Calmac ferry routes across to Mull, from Oban, Lochaline and Kilchoan. If you plan to take your car by ferry you should book, no matter what time of year you plan to travel.

You will be given a booking reference number, and at Oban you will need to arrive at the ferry terminal at least half an hour before your departure for Mull - the same applies to your return journey.

Public Transport

Traveline Scotland provides a very good guide to bus, train and ferry connections on and off the island.
