Dear Petrea
We have enjoyed staying at Taigh Ciuil. its a really lovely comfortable house with all that we needed. We walked up to Glengorm Castle which was lovely. We went to see Staffa and Iona. Both were impressive - Fingles Cave is spectacular. We enjoyed exploring and enjoyed the stunning wildlife everywhere. We managed to see eagles on many occasions. If we should come back we would love to stay in this cottage again. Thank you.

Enjoyed our stay very much in this comfortable cottage. The weather was generally good. Enjoyed watching the boats and ships from the windows at the cottage and also the walks in the countryside. We even tried the bus to Fionnaport. We saw an otter and sea eagles at Calgary Bay and lots of butterflies.

Thank you for a lovely relaxing holiday in your very cosy cottage. We had the most perfect time with the best of weather, scenery and seafood. We recommend a boat trip to the Treshnish Islands and Staffa - amazing wildlife and geology. Duart Castle and Iona also was very good. We've enjoyed going off the beaten track at Croig, Carsaig and Lochbuie, all of which are beautiful scenic places which made lovely picnic stops! We have loved the little town of Tobermory nd ill miss our ealy morning trips for breakfast at the bakery, as well as watching the boats go by. There are some lovely places to eat and the absolute best is Cafe Fish (make sure that you book in advance!!) The fish van also does excellent fish and chips. Goodbye little cottage and the wonderful island of Mull We hope we will be back soon and hope your next visitors have a lovely time as we did.

We have very much enjoyed our stay in your lovely cottage. It is perfectly formed and we found it comfortable, well equipped and in a great location. We did not see anywhere else on the island that we'd rather have been. Our children have enjoyed exploring the beaches and castles of Mull with us. We had a beautiful boat trip and spotted seals and porpoises. The food that we have eaten on the island has been very good - tip of the week, remember to book for an evening meal a couple of days ahead of schedule.

This has been a lovely week to be on Mull. We found the cottage clean and very well equipped and the views from upstairs and downstairs enthralling. We had sunshine everyday. We recommend the walk through the forest to Ardmore Point. We saw our first golden eagles along Loch Frisa and love the drive to Ulva Ferry - spotting a sea eagle on the way. Iona was a long trip but worth it, allow at least 1 and half hours to get there. Calgary beach was busy, so you may not be able to park very close. We enjoyed eating out in Tobermory and found the 'Byre;' tearoom eccentric but generous,
Thanks Petrea

We have had a great week in this lovely little house. We've explored much of Mull. Good food is important to us and we were not disappointed. Special mention for Cafe Fish (this must be the best sea food in the area). Highland Cottage in Breadalbane Street, the tearoom at Calgary Art in Nature and of course the Fish & Chip van on the pier in Tobermory!! We found Arthur Brown to be very knowledgeable guide for wildlife (Discover Mull)

A most enjoyable relaxing week. Weather was fantastic, the bay picturesque, the restaurants very good and the accommodation itself very comfortable with all one would need at hand. First visit staying on Mull and would definitely return. Thank you Petrea

We have had the most wonderful time with friends. Mull is a magical place. Excellent night at the Mishnish, and fantastic exhibition at An Tobar. This is the most beautiful place to relax. Stunning views, lovely suntrap - great cottage for a 'girly weekend' away from the stress of life

Fantastic wee house Petrea (I want it!), I'm so jealous! It has just been one great holiday, very relaxing. Everything you need is in this house. So comfortable here and delightfully pretty - the house and Tobermory. We went to Iona and did a spot of fishing. Lots of walks. Calgary Bay is so so so so beautiful. Will definitely come back and don't want to go home.
11th - 18th June
Tobermory is a colourful little town. We found Taigh Ciuil a beautiful, well appointed house in which we wanted for nothing. The weather was very kind to us with 6 sunny days and we had a glorious day to visit Iona. Keen bird watchers so took a wildlife trip with Mull wildlife tours. Saw sea eagles, golden eagles galore and another 50 species all in one day!! Peter Hall's knowledge of where to look and what we saw was invaluable and well worth the money. If you are a fish fan then Mull is the place to eat. Best restaurant is the Waterfront and MacGochans Pub is also a recommendation with scallops to die for. Coffee Pot, Salan has superb carrot cake. Try clooty dumpling with ice cream at the Old Byre, Dervaig. You may guess that we are fond of our grub.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely well appointed cottage. It has been an ideal base for our 1st (and won't be our last) visit to Mull. We didn't bring or hire a car and found the public transport a great way to meet the local and some bus drivers have a great sense of humour (The bus to and from Craignure stops at the corner of Victoria Street, near the cottage)
28th May - 4th June
Thank you for the most enjoyable stay. The cottage is very homely and has everything that is required. In our week stay we managed to get around a lot of the island. We are keen birdwatchers, so the RSPB Loch Frisa and the other locations were superb for seeing the Golden Eagle and Sea Eagles. Iona is a lovely island to visit too. Bird watching and wildlife safari with Richard Atkinson was a wonderful day, a very informative man with all the local knowledge, is a must. Staff is fabulous too, best to book a trip in advance, as its very popular. We had a wonderful holiday on this magnificent Isle.
